Vegas' grim side surfaces monthly. What happens in Vegas, stays in vegas, especially when you're blowing your brains out. Props to Neal Karlen, who tells me that survivors of suicide jumps tell of recalcitrance on the way down at a much higher frequency when their motivation was borne of love and not of money troubles.
